Sergey dreik Kolesnik
Hey there! I'm Sergey Kolesnik — a Senior DevOps Engineer with more than 20 years of hands-on experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, and architecture. I design, build, and maintain reliable platforms that keep business-critical services running at scale.
My career spans enterprise networks, cloud migrations, and modern DevOps practices across industries from online travel and fintech to multi-brand restaurant operations. I have led infrastructure transformations, cut cloud costs by over a million dollars per year, and helped teams ship code faster through solid CI/CD pipelines and automation.
Day to day I work with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Linux, and a wide range of supporting tools — from PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server to Microsoft Exchange and Windows Server environments. Whether the task is designing a new deployment workflow, hardening security posture, or untangling a legacy stack, I focus on practical solutions that last.
I bring a strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail to every project. I enjoy working in fast-paced, collaborative environments where clear communication and clean engineering matter as much as the technology itself. Good infrastructure should be boring in production and transparent for developers — that is the standard I aim for.
Outside of work I enjoy listening to music, reading, and tinkering with servers at home. I contribute to open-source projects when I can and keep up with the broader tech community. I believe in minimal design, clean code, and getting things done without unnecessary complexity.
